Our Story

How the Brand and Its Philosophy Were Born:

The brand Homi Too was born from the magical encounter of three young women, each with a unique personality and character.

Despite our differences, we are united by a common inner need: to express ourselves through what is our passion—fashion. This diversity is one of our greatest strengths. Each of us, in fact, carries with her a wealth of experiences, visions, and styles that enrich our creativity.

Homi Too embodies the uniqueness of Made in Italy through lively, high-quality products, entirely designed and created by us. Every print and every design is the result of our imagination: paintings, graphics, and patterns created with the intention of inspiring and highlighting the individuality of each person.

 

Origins:

Sicily, being our place of origin, has constantly inspired us with its vibrant colors, the beauty of nature, history, culture, and traditions.

Homi Too has chosen, not by chance, as its distinctive logo a symbol linked to its territory: the scarab beetle of Milazzo. This decision is not only symbolic but also pays homage to the brand's roots.

 

Meaning of the Name:

The brand name comes from a dream: we were searching for a name that could represent us when, one evening, out of the blue, it was suggested to us in a dream! One of us three dreamed of our project already underway, with the name “Homi,” and with great enthusiasm, we decided to keep it, as if it were a sign of destiny.

The term “Homi” evokes a sense of belonging and human warmth, suggesting the idea of a welcoming home for all. It is an invitation to feel comfortable in your own skin, free from the limitations imposed by traditional gender stereotypes. The word “Too” was added right after to bring an additional meaning: inclusivity, suggesting that fashion is for everyone, without exclusion.

Together, the name conveys a message of acceptance and diversity, inviting every individual to express their identity without boundaries.

 

Vision and Mission:

We combined our strengths and skills to create a brand that is not only a commercial enterprise but also a means to express who we are. Homi Too was born from the idea that fashion should be a tool for liberation, a language through which to tell your own story.

Our genderless and colorful pieces reflect this philosophy, allowing everyone to find their place and wear what represents them. That’s why Homi Too is aimed at a diverse audience, embracing all genders, ages, and body types.

 

How We Met:

Our story began at the same workplace, where we had the opportunity to meet.

Throughout our journey, we realized that our talent was being exploited without giving space to our true essence. The conventions and restrictions of our work were limiting us, and we felt trapped in a system that didn’t reflect our values.

So, we made the courageous decision to follow our dreams, and from that moment, Homi Too became our life project.

In a world that often imposes limits, we chose to embrace the unknown, turning our vision into reality, supporting each other and facing challenges with determination, even without great financial resources.

Homi Too is also an invitation to all those who dare to dream.

Every collection is a tangible sign that dreams, when nurtured with commitment and dedication, can truly come to life.
